She was predeceased by: her parents, William James and Alpha Wright (Swaffer); her husband Doyle Young; her sons, James Young and Larry Young; and her grandson Jerry Young, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Jerry Young (Jerry) of Abilene, Kelly Young (Venessa) of Clyde, Lajuana Spurgeon of Houston and Paula Robinson (Jeff) of Weatherford; and her grandchildren, Jerod Yates (Amy), Jerimy Robinson (Leslie), Colby Robinson, Blake Robinson (Aimee), Megan Young, Jessika Henson (Ryan), Justin Riley (Emily), Taylor Young, Jimmy Dale Knight, Andrea Knight, Misty Young, Vesti Wyatt (Brandon) and Vasha Aguirre (Erick). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
