It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lloyd Breeding (Clyde, Texas), who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Breeding and Opal Campbell Breeding; his brother Robert Breeding; his sister-in-law Martha Breeding; his brother David C. Breeding; and his brother-in-law J. W. Willoughby.
He is survived by: his wife Irma ViDoris Breeding; his children, Venessa Young (Kelly), Valerie Cantrell (Curtis) and James L. Breeding II (Leona); his grandchildren, Vesti Wyatt (Brandon), Vasha Aguirre (Erick), James L. Breeding (Trey), Robert Travis Breeding, Caleb Cantrell and Aaron Cantrell (Elie); his great grandchildren, Cannon, Carlee Breeding, Davis, Anna Wyatt, Elias, August, Rosa Aguirre, Charlotte, Carter and Meredith Cantrell; and his sisters, Barbara Willoughby and Una Davis (Les).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bailey-Howard Funeral Home Chapel (105 Oak St, Clyde, TX 79510). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at the Oplin Cemetery (Oplin, TX 79510).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hendrick Hospice Care.
