He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnel Powers and Lavonia Powers; his former wife Tina Marie Powers; and his sister Esther. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Dipple; his children, Julie Young (Jimmy) of Abilene, Victor Powers (Summer) of Abilene, Drew Powers (Krissy) of New Albany and Quinn (Anne Marie) of Tomball, Texas; his grandchildren, Summer Cullins, Andrew Young (Angela), Wren Young (Heather), Lauren Courtney (Michael), Kolsen Powers (Racheal), Luke Powers, Grayson Powers, Kaylee Powers and Adalyn Powers; his great grandchildren, Swayzi Taye, Hallie Courtney and Riggins Young; his siblings-in-law, Laura Deines (Tim) and Clyde Aly; his nephews, Michael Aly, Trevor Deines, Cade Deines and Braden Deines; his friends, Lee, Kathy Oliver, Greg and Mary Anne Peay; and his brother Johnny Powers.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel (105 Oak St, Clyde, TX 79510).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hendrick Hospice Care, Eula Alumni Association, or the Eula Booster Club.
