He was predeceased by: his children, John David Hudson and Pamela Joyce Butner; his grandchildren, Travis Hudson and Katherine Terrell; and his great grandchild Bronson Boyles.
He is survived by: his wife Sally of Clyde; his children, Gary Hudson (Elaine) of Tuscola, Suzanne Bradshaw (Steve) of Tye and Annetta Cox (Rodney) of Abilene; and his stepdaughters, Kayla Farmer (Dave) of Colorado, Angela Karol Benford (Jim) of San Angelo and Leslie Jean Pounds (Shannon) of Silverdale, WA.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
