David Samuel Collins Obituary
David Samuel "Diamond Dave" Collins passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the age of 61.
David was born February 15, 1963 to Denver Carttest and Amy Jane (Johnston) Collins. David was a cowboy and worked on several ranches during his lifetime. He loved roping and riding and there wasn't much that David couldn't do (or try) on horseback.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Denver and Amy Collins; brothers Jimmy Lee, Billy Ray and Johnny Joe Collins; sister Laura Sue Collins; one nephew and one great niece.
He is survived by his sisters, Nancy (Terry) Middlebrook of Clyde and Kathy (Danny) Nelson of Post; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and his friends that were extended family.
Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home in Baird. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Monday, October 28, 2024, at Ross Cemetery Annex in Baird.
