He was predeceased by: his wife Merrell; and his siblings, Wanda Nabors and Bobby Ray Pennington. He is survived by: his spouse Merrel Faye Eckols; and his children, Danny Pennington (Sheryl) of Clyde, Rhonda Hicks of Clyde and Sheila Pennington of Clyde. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
