She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Waggoner and Edna Waggoner (Rogers); her grandfather James Earl; her children, James Miller (Terry) of Hawley, Jeanita Miller of Clyde, Denise Miller of Clyde and Renea Hedden (Jody) of Clyde; her children-in-law, Ashley McGowen of Clyde and Richard Swan of Clyde; her brother Cecil Waggoner (Clara) of Jacksonville; her husband Hoot McGowen; her children, Larry Wayne Miller, Rick McGowen and Lori Swan; her brother Larry Wayne Waggoner; and her great grandchild Josiegh Savell. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two nieces; two nephews and their children.
