He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryant Henson and Ora Henson; and his siblings, Bo Henson, Meryl White (Henson) and Lou Callaway (Henson).
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Henson (Dee); and his children, Rick Henson (Kathy), Vicky Thames (Dale), Sanette Austin (Duke), Bryan Carpenter (Christian) and Kim Knapp (Curtis). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way; 2 nephews and 1 niece.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Walt Henson's name be made to the Sweeny Christian School Building Fund, 904 Texas Avenue, Sweeny, TX 77480.
