She was predeceased by: her husband Estevan Fonseca; her siblings, Daniel, Felipe Rios, Eugenia Rios and Baselisa Serrtuche; and her son-in-law Alvaro Rios.

She is survived by: her children, Guadalupe Rios, Alvaro and Ernesto Villar. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
