She was predeceased by: her son Robert Freeman Shaw; and her father Robert. She is survived by: her husband Wallace Shaw; her children, Hampton Lee Shaw and Mary Killmer Shaw; her grandchildren, Shannon Shaw Rivera and Robert Lee Shaw; and her great grandchild Olivia Grace Rivera.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in her honor to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Mary's or to the Parent Teacher Organization at Freeport Elementary.
