He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Cowley and Minnie Ola Cowley; his wife Mary Lou Cowley; his daughter Toni Ann Reinhart; and his siblings, Jerry Cowley and Ivonne Wright.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Tucker (Doug), Scott Cowley (Holly) and Terri Rhodes (Dwayne); and his brother Don Cowley. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
