He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Martinez and Elvira Martinez; and his brothers, Lino (Ester), Pete (Julia), Luis and Joe Martinez.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Jesse Jr. (Noemi) of Freeport, Priscilla Martinez Cantu of Angleton and Chris Martinez of Freeport; his grandchildren, Johnathan (Julie) of Lake Jackson, Jesse III, Jace Martinez of Freeport, Lee Jr. and Ashlee Cantu (Yazmin) of Angleton; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Anthony, Damian, Remi and Jessenia; and his siblings, Mary Rodriguez (Frank) of Freeport, Johnny (RoseAnn) of Freeport, Roy Martinez of Freeport, Sally Bermea, Victor Martinez (Mary) of Ganado and William Martinez (Debbie) of Lake Jackson. He is also survived by his many nephews and nieces.
