He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Salazar and Rosa Salazar; his wife Teresa Salazar; his children, Jesse Salazar Jr., Mary Ann Krampota and Angela Salazar; and his siblings, Juan, Joe, Manuel, Gilbert Salazar, Anita Mendoza, Lionilia Mendoza and Connie Paiz.
He is survived by: his children, Rosa Burton (Quintin, Sr.), Carmen Salazar (Criss) and John Anthony Salazar; his sons-in-law, Glenn Krampota and Sistos Lara Sr.; his grandchildren, Tamara Robinson, Stephanie Trevino, Quintin Burton Jr., Tiffani Mallory, Britney Laws, Vanessa Burton, Dionisia Hernandez, Rene Hernandez Jr., Sistos Lara Jr., Chad Salazar, Robert Lara, Serena Salazar, Jordan Salazar and Katelin Krampota; and his great grandchildren, Ariana Burton, Armani Burton and Jacob Mallory. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
