Janie Lou Guynes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janie Lou Guynes of Clute, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Scott and Erma Scott (Ross); her husband Garland Guynes; and her siblings, Bobby Clyde Scott and Mary Ann Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Guynes (Bonnie) and Cindy Tyler (Cotton); her grandchildren, Amy Condon (Bobby) of Tommy, Guynes Jr., Emily Williams (Travis), Jared Guynes (Jenny) and Chris Tyler; her great grandchildren, Charlie Condon, Colt Tyler, Rylan Tyler, Shelby Condon, Kenley Williams, Imre Guynes, Olivia Guynes and Phoebe Lowery; her son Richard Miller; her brother Charles Scott (Mildred); her friend Kristina Dalchau; and also Jackie Loving. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stroud Funeral Home (538 TX-288 Business, Clute, TX 77531). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
