He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Clinnie Phy and Hazel Mae Darr Phy. He is survived by: his children, Floyd D. Phy, Jr. (Peggy), Joe Phy (Vikki), Steve Phy (Gloria), Donna Hamlet (Robert) and Cheryl Ferguson (Joel); his grandchildren, Lance Phy, Justin Phy, Wendi Cartwright, Kaye Dee Lutes, Ean Phy, Jenny Phy, Amanda Rainey, Jonathan Phy, Rachel Huntington, Sarah Dunn, Josh Ferguson, Katie Mayfield and Lauren Snyder; his great grandchildren, Peyton, Natalie, Emma, Drew, Hana, Jase, Noah, Heather, Shelby, Bailey, Haiden, Reece, River, Lindsey, Lexie, Chase, Will, Autumn, Wyatt, Summer, Ella, Lane, Ace, Jack, Reese, Reagan and Blake; and his great great grandchildren, Finis Phy and JoAnn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Due to the covid pandemic the family will have a private grave side service.
