He was predeceased by: his parents, Margarita Sanchez and Apolonio Sanchez Sr.; and his brother Guillemo. He is survived by: his grandson Darrick Sanchez Jr.; his wife Maria Eva Sanchez; and his children, Melissa Mendoza (Juan), Rebecca Delegarza (Ruben), Jennifer Sanchez, Joann Selvage (Darryl), Eva Marie Gonzalez (Mark) and Fermin Sanchez (Claudia). He is also survived by his 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
