Edwin Whitehead Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin Whitehead of Clute, Texas, born in Sandia, Texas, who passed away on February 8, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Whitehead and Ruth Whitehead; his brother Charles Whitehead; and his great grandchild Keegan. He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his children, Jill Hanks (Doug Hamel), Jodie Pentak (Bill), Vanessa Whitehead, James Fitch (Regina) and Timothy Fitch (Linda Biehunko); and his grandchildren, Ashley Selman, Lauren Hanks, Landon Fitch, Marshall Pentak, Madison Fitch, Anna Pentak Haab (Jacob), Ariana Barnes, Araya Barnes and Opal-Ann Backus. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Houston Police Retired Officers Association and the Law Enforcement Memorial Fund.
