He was predeceased by: his parents, Andres Garza and Juanita Garza; and his siblings, Rudy Garza, Andrew Garza (Survived), Rosa Crossman and Adela Hernandez.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah (Debi Hargrove Landers); his children, Morgan Garza, Xandavia Landers and Taylor Landers (Colin Brumlow); his grandchild Caiden Oakes; his siblings, Jesus Garza (Delores), Jose Garza, Anavella Garza and Mario Garza Sr.; and his brother-in-law Grover Hargrove (Val). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
