He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Schafer and Philip Schafer; and his sister Betty Morrison McKinnon. He is survived by: his wife Marge Schafer (Dyar); his children, Phil Schafer (Angie) and Laura Hyman (Eric); and his grandchildren, Kelsey, Andrew, Adam and Kristen Hyman.
