It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leon Smith of Clifton, Texas, born in Gatesville, Texas, who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Smith and Juanita Lovell Smith. He is survived by: his wife Carole; his children, Billy Martin of Glen Rose, Melanie Harvey (Michael) of Deer Park, Allison Smith of Austin and Caitlin Smith of New Orleans; his granddaughters, Molly Milbradt, Elizabeth Harvey and Emily Harvey; and his siblings, Lazane Smith (Ron McIntire) of Granbury and Lyndell Smith (Tammy) of Granbury.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to BARK (Bosque Animal Rescue Kennels) at PO Box 264, Clifton, TX 76634.

“Carol, I just saw the notice of Leon’s death. I mourn his loss with you and pray for God’s continued comfort and prescience with you. Leon was a classmate in Hamilton before his move to Clifton. He attended our 40th HHS class reunion in 2011, and I am in the process of contacting class members of our upcoming 50th on September 18.
