It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Laverne Thiele (Clifton, Texas), born in Waco, Texas, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel P. Thiele; her parents, John P. Cross and Lola Mae Cross (Ferguson); and her siblings, Jean Patrick, Ruby Parsons and John C. Cross.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Cheyne (Dennis) of Clifton, Texas, Carolyn Jackson of Clifton, Texas, Cynthia McCutcheon (Mike) of Clifton, Texas and Ronda Ruiz (Armando) of Clifton, Texas; and her sister Wanda Brooks of Hewitt, Texas. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, along with many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Danny Burnett, Dennis W. Cheyne, Preston Donahue, Wyatt Parton, Dustin Cheyne, Owen Calderono, In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to Sunset Hospice, West 5th Street, Clifton, Texas 76634 or to Fairview Cemetery, 992 County Road 3530, Clifton, Texas 76634.
