She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Leatherwood and Myrtle Leatherwood (Johnson); her husband Claude Elmo Ellingson; her sons-in-law, Preston John and Kent Wisdom; and her siblings, Thomas, Carl, Viola, Margaret and Iris.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila (Larry Musselman), Gena Vee John (Greg Rottet) and Claudette Wisdom; her grandchildren, Julie, Jason New, Sarah, Matthew Domel of Clifton, TX, Ashley John, Michael Damron, Melissa, Greg McGinty, Laura, Jeff Harper, Holly John, Tanner Wisdom and Kendall Lewis; and her great grandchildren, Judd, Lucy, Tilden New, Jack, Lily, Krete Domel and Alexander Chavez. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (803 W 3rd St, Clifton, TX 76634). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
