Jackie Payne Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jackie Payne (Clifton, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 21, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jackie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jackie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rean Stanford and Mae Stanford; her brother Clayton; and her husband William Payne (Bill). She is survived by: her children, Danny Payne of Whitney, Paula Davis (Johnny) of Alvarado and Geneva Dry of Joshua. She is also survived by four grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clifton Funeral Home (303 S Avenue F, Clifton, TX 76634). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church (777 N Walnut Creek Dr, Mansfield, TX 76063).
