He was predeceased by: his father Robert Arthur; and his sister Betty Hall. He is survived by: his children, Angela Bowden and Rodney Rueter; his wife Joann Altenburg; his children, Greg Gloff (Angela) of Clifton and Melanie Rueter (Rodney) of Clifton; his brother-in-law Halbert Hall of Bryan; his sister Doris Haggard (Paul); his sister-in-law Jo Rene Altenburg of Huntsville; his grandchildren, Benjamin Gloff, Kayla Kloecker (Jared), Alexandra Vannatta (Dalton), Alyssa Rueter and Zachary Gloff (Savannah); and his great grandchildren, Jenntrie and Rhett Vannatta. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Clifton, Lutheran Sunset Ministries and Goodall-Witcher Hospital Foundation.
