He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tracey and Vivian Tidwell Metcalfe; his former wife Mary Kay; and his brother Roy Haliburton. He is survived by: his wife Liz Metcalfe; his children, Donna Dailey (Steve), Mike Metcalfe (Donna), Beth Phelps (George) and Joanne Corley (Mark); his stepsons, Ron Bailey and Frank Bailey (Sofia); his grandchildren, Christopher Dailey (Ellen), Jess Dailey, Christina Montague (Jonathan), Curtis Metcalfe (Tiffany), Marsye Steele (Michael), Robert Metcalfe, Austin Phelps, Luke Phelps (Traci), Caleb Phelps, Amy Millar (Brandon) and Ashley Schober (Mike); his brother-in-law Bobby Cooper (Yvette); and his cousins, George and Bobby Sanders of Austin. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
