He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Goerdel and Hilda Goerdel (Marwitz); and his brothers, Lemund, Clarence and Auline [Bob].
He is survived by: his wife Donna Goerdel; his sister Lorine Peters; his sons, Timothy (Angela), Andrew (Michelle) and Peter; his grandchildren, Jeffery, Henry, Grayson, Charlotte Goerdel, Alexandra, Eric and Lillian Christensen; and his sister-in-law Shirley (Auline).
