He was predeceased by: his wife Lavada Nelson; and his son Eddie Nelson. He is survived by: his children, Jo L. Lilley, Rhonda G. Mizell and William Randall Nelson; his grandchildren, William Michael Nelson, Autumn Rene Farris and Randi D'Wan Vaughn; and his great grandchildren, Fiona Nelson, Rian McDaniel and Chase Farris. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
