She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Guillot and Alia Guillot; her husband Marlin A. Burke; her son-in-law James Louis; and her sister Pearl Lenz.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Louis, Loretta Hightower (Lewis) and Marlin W. "Bubba" Burke; her brothers, Marshall Guillot (Judy) and Richard Guillot (Pat); and her grandchildren, Michelle Chapman (Johnny), Kellie Gomez (Troy), Shannon Hamic (Stacie), Kevin Louis, Jennifer Anthony (Doc), Andy Hightower (Leslie), Harley Burke, Caine Burke (Amanda), Marva McCormick, Bobby McCormick and Mark Trahan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, family members, and a host of friends.
