It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal E. Ward Roberts of Cleveland, Texas, born in Splendora, Texas, who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Lew Ward; her son Manuel Lewis Roberts; and her siblings, Ray Ward (Ruth), Robert H. Flaugher (Joyce), Roy Worthy (Jane) and Hedda Fransen (Roy).

She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Pennington (W. C.); her sister Kathleen Lovejoy; her grandchildren, Walter Carlton Pennington III, Christine, Russell Warren Pennington and Angelia; and her great grandchildren, Walter Carlton Pennington IV, Carter Russell Pennington, Reece William Pennington, Nolan Warren Pennington and Brooke Kaylee Pennington.
