She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Alfred Wetzel; her parents, Herbert Pelzl and Emillie Newman; her half-brother Lee Holman; her siblings, Dalton Pelzl, Mable Schilling, Evora Niekamp and Mary Boman Thrasher; and her grandson Christopher Odell Wetzel.
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Wetzel (Kay), Kenneth Wetzel (Rhonda) and Gary Wetzel; her brother Clint Alton Pelzl; her grandchildren, Quinton Eugene Wetzel, Peyton Wayne Wetzel, Kendall Lynn Wetzel, Justin Wetzel and Michelle Denise Guerrero (Jorge); her great grandchildren, Keaton Anthony Allen, Mason Elizabeth Usher and Heaven Wetzel; and her great great grandchild Rowan Anthony Allen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Neal Funeral Home (200 S Washington Ave, Cleveland, TX 77327). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
