With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Monalee Faye Chalkey of Cleveland, Texas, who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Monalee Faye shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Monalee Faye farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Chalkey; her parents, Anderson Andy Burton of Athens Ohio and Wilma Fay Hull of Athens Ohio; her son David Leon Chalkey; and her brother Jerry Anderson Burton of Athens Ohio.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Leslie Chalkey (Lorraina Goodwin) and Linda Chalkey (Michael Pierce); her grandsons, Frank Leon Chalkey, KC Anderson Chalkey (Nikki Amber Windham) and William Mann of Montgomery Alabama; and her nephew Rodgers Cochran (Angie) of Pasadena Texas. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pasadena Funeral Chapel (2203 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena, TX 77502). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Grand View Funeral Home & Memorial Park/Bethany Cemetery (8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505).
