He was predeceased by: his parents, George Owen Baxter Davis and Helen Davis (Householder) of Virginia; his wife Kathryn Davis; and his sons, Jay Lynn "BJay" Green and Joe "Scooter" Jones.
He is survived by: his uncle Larry Householder; his siblings, Jerry Davis (Paula), Pat Davis (Vivian), Jeff Davis (Shelly), Terry Davis (Michelle) and Kim Williamson (Paul); and his sister-in-law Sandra Gardener.
