He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Ferris Hunt and Pauline Smith Hunt; his sister Peggy Robinson; and his stepfather Fletcher Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hunt; his children, Melvin Ferris "Trey" Hunt III (Brandy), Matthew Hubert Scott Hunt (Stacy), Kellie Renee Reed (James) and Brittany Murry; and his grandchildren, Karson Keller, Maddison Keller, Max Hunt, Gemma Keller, Peyton Tarnow, Reid Hunt, Ryland Tarnow, Jackson Reed and Harper Tarnow. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
