With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melba Lee Tidwell (Cleveland, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Lee Tidwell; her parents, James Robison and Pearl Hickman; and her brother JB Robison. She is survived by: her pets, Princess and Lucy; her sons, Clarence Tidwell (Wendy Szymanski) and Thomas Tidwell (Connie); her siblings, Norman "Red" Robison, Helen Haggard and Joyce Brown; her sister-in-law Dorothy Capers; her grandchildren, Casey Valderez (Shawn), Shane Tidwell and Kyle Tidwell; her great grandchildren, Marissa Crossin (Austin), Peyton Ellis (Jake) and Kyersten Valderez; and her great great grandchildren, Prestyn Crossin and Dallas Crossin. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, family members, and a host of treasured friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Neal Funeral Home (200 S Washington Ave, Cleveland, TX 77327). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Magnolia Cemetery (750 Lilley Yeager Loop S, Cleveland, TX 77328).
