She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Otis Johnson and Mary Maddox Johnson; her husband Richard Ray Lum; her children, Richard "Rick" Ronald Lum, Theresa Cain, Gloria Cain (Raymond) and John Michael Lum (Carroll); and her sisters, Elizabeth Ferguson, Carrie Fay Woodard and Ocie Loving. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
