She was predeceased by: her parents, William Marsh and Eva Mae Shepperd; and her husband Paul Bowers. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Mia Christie, Lisa Stockton and Joseph Paul Meziere; her siblings, William M. Shepperd and Lois O'Neal; her sister-in-law Mary Helen Bowers; her children, Wayne Carpenter, Mary Beth Morris, Jerry L. Carpenter, Mary Lee Bowers Wyatt and Paul Michael Byars; her brother Walter Burns; and her brother-in-law Clarence L. Bowers. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
