It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lou Laxton of Cleveland, Texas, born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyce Elizabeth Wilkerson Brown and William Allen Brown, Sr.; her stepfather Willard Fredieu; and her sister Sherry Berg (Spanky). She is survived by: her husband Harry Laxton; her sons, Glen Bruce (Janis), James Bruce (Robbie) and Gary Bomer; and her siblings, William Brown, Jr. (Margie) and Cindy Kessler (Tommy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family members, and a host of friends.
