She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Perry and Pauline Perry (Ross); her husband Bruno Acosta; and her grandmother Corine Martin. She is survived by: her children, Alex Acosta (Mindy), Alicia Acosta and Steven Acosta; her siblings, Perry Gibson, Monroe Perry (Lynn), Gwen Cleveland (Curtis) and Beverly Standley; her grandchildren, Emery, Joshua, Christopher, Ashlee and Christian; and her great grandchild Andres.
