It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lennie Stone Carter (Cleveland, Texas), who passed away on January 11, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Payton B. Stone and Ola Lee Parrish Stone; her husband David Lester Carter, Jr.; her siblings, Louise Bryan, Oleta King, Joyce Adams, Eugene Stone and Homer Lee Stone; and her great grandchild Audrey Aliza Hazen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Darlene Ede (Jim) and Sandra Jean Perryman (Tom); her grandson Stephen Carter Hazen; her great grandchildren, Carter Paul Hazen and Vivian Josephine Hazen; her sister Madeline Kelley; her stepgranddaughter Jamie Sue Ede; her sister-in-law Geroline Carter Wood; and her caregivers, Syble, Joyce, Kelly, Savannah and Lennie. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
