It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julious Melvin Holifield of Cleveland, Texas, born in Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on August 15, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Holifield and Emily Holifield; his daughter Sarah Kay Walton; his siblings, Vicie Marzellia Landrum, Sarah Birtha Day, Alson Holifield, Johnie Holifield, Maurice Holifield and Haurice Holifield; his nephew Dan Holifiled; his niece Doris Barnett; his wife Ann Holifield; his children, Deborah Fay Wilkerson, Melvin Ray Holifield and Micah Jay Holifield; and his brother James Marvin Holifield. He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
