He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nathaniel Pouncey and Freida Ida Ludwig Pouncey; and his siblings, Charles Pouncey Jr., Billy Pouncey, Ida Kyle and Lucille Seivors.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Kay Brooks (Keith), Jimmy Ray Pouncey Jr. (Dana) and Tommy Wayne Pouncey; his siblings, Ralph Pouncey, Mildred Thomas, Clara Davis and Ruby Pouncey; his grandchildren, Keisha Collier (C. W.), Lacrissa Brooks, Nicole Coleman, Cody Pouncey (Brook), Julia Lawrence (Jeremy), Gracie Pouncey and Savanna Manning; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Collier, Avery Brooks, Autumn Kibbler, Daniel Pouncey, Jolene Lawrence, Wyatt Pouncey, Janie Lawrence, Garrett Pouncey, Jaxon Feast and Josie Lawrence. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pace-Stancil Chapel (303 E Crockett St, Cleveland, TX 77327). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Magnolia Cemetery (392 McAdams-Vann Rd., Evergreen, TX 77328).
