He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Otis and Dora Meekins; his son Otis Gambill Meekins; his sister Mary Elizabeth Settle; his grandson Tommy Beavers; his great grandchild Greyson McCool; his wife Tillie; his children, Craig Olin Meekins (Jill), Donald Brian Meekins (Deawyn), Andy Wells (Kristi), Keith McMullen (Amy) and Melodie Gonzales (Eddie); his siblings, Charles Curtis Meekins (Wendy), Julia Russell (Leland) and Patsy Seifert; his grandchildren, Eric Meekins, Steffanie Meekins, Phillip Meekins, Brandi Beavers (Trent Lauve), Daniel McCool (Kimberly) and Kayla McCool; and his great grandchildren, Lily Ann McCool, Elena McCool, Faye Marie McCool and Daniel Raymond McCool, III. He was also cherished by numerous other relatives and friends.
