Ima Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Ima Ruth departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ima Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ima Ruth leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Jenkins and Claytie Louisa Gardner Jenkins; her husband Floyd Carter Wright; and her sisters, Louise Sellars and Merle Jean Thornton.
She is survived by: her children, Lynda Kubin (Randy) of Crosby and Bill Wright (Laurel Tate) of Katy. She is also survived by five granddaughters and thirteen great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pace-Stancil Memorial (12901 FM 2025, Cleveland, TX 77328).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association.
