With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hubert Smith Bass Jr. of Cleveland, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on February 16, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Smith Bass, Sr. and Irma Anna Jezik Bass; and his sister Neysha Ann Bass Edwards. He is survived by: his children, Samantha Ann Bass, Hubert Smith Bass III and Wiley Sampson Bass; his grandson Kyle Caden Bass; his niece Erika Ann Edwards Marter (J. D. Marter); his great-nephew Joseph D. Marter; and his pet Rusty. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
