It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Louise Ward Bailey (Cleveland, Texas), born in Bremond, Texas, who passed away on July 2, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Klotz and Maggie Homiack Klotz; her husbands, Bruce R. Ward and Rolfe Bailey; and her sisters, Patricia and Christine.
She is survived by: her sons, Doyle Ward (Shirley) and Dale Ward (Thea); and her grandchildren, Doyle, Andrew, Chrystal, Melvin, Deanne, Christian, Jason, Jerod, Laura, Raymond, Melissa, Michael, Sonja and Stephen. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, plus numerous nieces, and nephews.
Helen had been a part of the Baylor Parkinson's Disease Center since her diagnosis and her prayer and wish was to help the research center find a cure for this disease so others would not have to suffer. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: bcm.edu/giving/helenbailey.
