She was predeceased by: her mother Bertha Couch Dyck; her sister Thelma Heeth; and her grandchildren, Katie Mae Helen Hughes and Billy Joe Hughes. She is survived by: her spouse D. J. Mc Lendon; and her children, Wesley Simpson (Cyndi), Michael Simpson (Pam), Cynthia Barton (Jimmy), Rebecca Knoles (Rick) and Ella Neutzler (Jay). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or UNICEF.
