Don Davis Obituary
Don Marshall Davis, Beloved husband, father, Son and Grandfather, age 67, passed away on June 24, 2012 at home in Tarkington Prarie Texas, a small surburb of Cleveland Texas, with his devoted wife, Luella, loving children, Holly & Clint, precious Grandson Eli & other family surrounding him along with his caretakers after a long battle with cancer. He was born August 10, 1944 in Houston, Texas to parents, Lyle and Dana Davis.
He is preceded in death by, grandparents, Milo and Orpha Davis and Arthur and Annie Davison; nephew, Bruce Walter Phillips.
The family will welcome family and friends Monday, June 25, 2012, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. for visitation at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Pastor Clyde Somers will preside over funeral services being held Tuesday, June 26, 2012 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at the Romayor Cemetery, Romayor, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, LuElla Phillips Davis; parents, Lyle and Dana Davis; children, Holly Davis Gill and husband, Jason, Clint Marshall Davis; adored grandson, Eli Skeet Gill; brothers, Michael Davis and wife, Susan, Richard Davis and wife, Vicky; sister, Gale Davis Tyler; adopted sister & Dear Friend, Evelyn Lee and husband, Rick Lee; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other cherished family members and treasured friends and his much loved pup, Pixie Dust.
