It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Don Terry (Cleveland, Texas), who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wood and Lois Rowan Wood; and his siblings, Jean Smith and Garland Wood. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Baumgarten Terry; his children, James Terry (Debra) of Daisetta, TX, Steven Terry (Joyce) of San Diego, CA and Sharon Terry-Doom of Aztec, NM.; his grandchildren, Susan Warren (Joe) of Lexington, OK, Nicole Terry of San Diego, CA, Dylan Doom of Jal, NM, Jackson Doom of Aztec, NM and Ethan Doom of Aztec, NM; his great grandchildren, Savanna and Gunner Warren of Lexington, OK; his sister Edna Gilchriest of Cleveland, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Tucker of Cedar Park, TX and Nora Wood of Fort Worth, TX.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, Disabled Veterans, or Calvary Baptist Church in Cleveland, TX.
