He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerold Jerome Eaton and Pauline Marie Parmer (Grisham); and his son Brian James Eaton. He is survived by: his wife Deborah "Debbie" Eaton (Murray); his son Christopher Wayne Eaton; his siblings, Myrle Parmer, Jerry Sue Dyess (Darryl LeCompte), Carol Eaton Wallsh (Brendon) and Kathleen Thornton; his grandchildren, David Brian Eaton, Cassie Eaton Jenkins (Anthony) and Shalee Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Aubrianna, Allayna Jenkins, Alexis and Kaiden Johnson.
