He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Thomas and Lorene Thomas; his brothers, Royce Sr. and Bill Thomas; his sons, Randy Guynes and Roger A. Guynes; his granddaughter Jenna Brooke Nicholson; and his sons-in-law, Roger Lakey and Gary Meistad.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Helen Thomas; his daughters, Cheryl Meistad (Wesley), Rhonda Nicholson and Lisa Nicholson; his brother Bobby Joe Thomas (Martha); his grandchildren, Cody Nicholson, Abbey Herbert, Hunter Hott (Veronica), Channing Solomon (Matt), Caleb Nicholson (Jessica), Roger E. Guynes (Kaleb), Michael Guynes (Tiffany), Kirby Kneale (Colton) and Guy Nicholson; and his great grandchildren, Cannon, Bristol Nicholson, Hunter II, Cooper Hott, Parker, Reid Solomon, Carson Nicholson, Maddox, Judson Guynes, Blayton, Bowan Guynes, Connor Kneale and Eli Nicholson. He is also survived by his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
